This phone, rocks. It has bluetooth, a 2gig microSD card slot, and a music player. With my Verizon New Every 2, I got it for thirty bucks. Then I spent another thirty bucks on the microSD card (smaller than a fingernail), and it came with a USB reader. So I jam the microSD card into the USB dongle, stick the dongle into my Mac, throw songs onto it, then take the SD card out of the dongle and jam it back into my phone. It took all of about 2 minutes to fill it with music; the cards have a fast transfer rate. I essentially just got an iPod Nano for 60 dollars, and oh wait, it makes phone calls too. Isn’t that the iPhone?
it gets better
Ever heard of BitPim? They’ve got it for both PC and Mac. Essentially, it gives you complete access to your phone’s data. You can even edit the T9 database with it.
BitPim supports bluetooth, so I can transfer music, contacts, images, and ringers, wirelessly to and from my Mac. Not only that, but I can transfer items directly to (and from) the microSD card as well, via bluetooth. Meaning I can transfer things like, oh, say, 2gigs of music, wirelessly to the phone. Is that not sweet? Why don’t iPods have bluetooth built in yet?
iPhone who?
2gigs of music storage, bluetooth transfers, it’s a phone to boot …. remind me what’s special about the iPhone again? (other than its price).
Oh and I forgot to mention, the design looks sexy as hell.
I love the LG vx8600.
